Discipline

How it started

My love for crocheting began with my grandma and the beautiful pieces she created. When I was around 10, she taught me the basics, and later, my mom—an incredibly talented crocheter—helped me learn more. I dabbled in it over the years, but it wasn’t until the women in my life started having babies that I truly embraced the craft again. Now, I cherish the joy of creating handmade gifts and the warmth they bring to new moms.

Recent works

Ariana’s blanket

For Ariana, I had the privilege of designing a blanket that perfectly matched her nursery, thanks to the close relationship I share with her mom. While I usually work with natural fibers like wool, I chose soft, easy-care polyester to make life simpler for her as a first-time mom—creating something both beautiful and practical. Knowing she wasn’t into traditionally girly colors, I selected a palette that felt soft yet unique

Joaquin’s blanket

For Joaquin, the third boy in his family, I wanted to design a blanket that felt both neutral and boyish while also reflecting his mom’s style. I chose colors and patterns that balanced softness and warmth, creating something timeless and personal for them to cherish.
